Artist's Bio

Glen R. Lyman was born and raised in Southern Utah.  He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education which is a composite major from Southern Utah University with emphasis on drawing and painting.  This degree, along with his Master of Education degree from Graceland University has enabled him to teach art in many different settings.  His students include developing artists from public secondary education schools, incarcerated adults, and at-risk youth.  Glen completed a Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts from Azusa Pacific University in July of 2015.  He is a devoted husband, father of four, and loves the world of art.  He has served his community, served his country in the military, and has taught 1000's of art students over the years.  He also loves training in, and teaching the martial arts.  Glen loves music and plays bass guitar and drums in a cover band with colleagues.  All of these experiences inform his artwork and help to focus his approach to creating his own unique style of visual art.
